Red China turned the world upside down last year by unleashing a virus that was just deadly enough to create a panic. Politicians knew not what to do. They shut down the economy, creating an even larger mess.
But we were saved by a wise, wily, septuagenarian federal official who knew exactly what to do.
Oh, it was not Tony Fauci, the man the media heralded. A year later, the world has read his emails and realizes that Fauci worked with Red China in creating this monster.
No, the hero was the man the media scorned, President Donald John Trump. Under his leadership, Operation Warp Speed delivered not just one, not just two, but three vaccines in record time.
Paul Bedard in his Washington Secrets column said President Trump cut the vaccine development from 10 years to less than 10 months.
He wrote, "In a new insider analysis, retired Lt. Gen. Keith Kellogg, a former coronavirus task force member and national security advisor to task force chief former Vice President Mike Pence, said the Trump team cast aside doubts and missed opportunities by previous administrations to work with drug companies and distributors to speed COVID-19 vaccines.
"Trump, Kellogg told Secrets, 'knew he had a serious issue going on but he didn't want to project panic or concern. You want to project confidence going forward and he did that.'
"The analysis, provided to Secrets today, said Operation Warp Speed helped to save $2.4 trillion from the costs of typical vaccine development and got shots into arms by Jan. 11, just one year after the World Health Organization identified the disease originated in China."
President Trump rescued the economy from Red China's biological warfare. Chairman Xi killed 3.7 million people outside his country (and who knows how many Chinese) as part of his plan to dominate the world.
Between his direct stimulus checks, temporary hikes in unemployment compensation, and loans to small businesses, Donald Trump dropped unemployment from 14.7% in April 2020 to 6.3% when he left office in January.
He also got the vaccinations to the states, which then disbursed them. Less than 6 months after the vaccines debuted, half the country was vaccinated.
Chairman Biden is taking credit for this.
The press lets him.
The American press is as useful as a screen door on a submarine.
Moving ahead, though, Republicans must promise the American people vengeance on Red China. President Trump called for a lawsuit seeking $10 trillion in damages.
Oh, the media will call Republicans racist, as if that were new.
Despite a year of media coverups for Red China (media corporate owners want access to China's market), 58% of Americans believe Red China created covid 19 in its Wuhan biological warfare lab.
24% believe Red China unleashed the virus deliberately.
Republicans need an issue to rally Americans in 2022. Red China attacked this nation and the world. Chairman Xi and his flunkies in our federal government should not go unpunished.
A few Republicans are up to the task. Congressman Mark Green of Tennessee is a medical doctor, a combat veteran, and a member of the Select Committee on the Coronavirus Crisis.
Dr. Green wrote, "I have repeatedly urged Jim Clyburn, the Democratic chairman of the committee, to investigate COVID-19’s origins and the Chinese Communist Party’s role in covering up the pandemic. Clyburn has repeatedly refused my requests.
"It is well past time for Fauci to testify before this committee under oath and tell us the truth. It’s time for people to know: What did Dr. Fauci know, and when did he know it?"
In a Senate hearing, Dr. Rand Paul grilled Fauci like a T-bone.
Looking ahead to 2022, I doubt that many people will care about taxes or balancing the budget. They have worries of their own, thanks to covid 19. And I don't see critical race theory as driving millions of people to the polls. I mean fight it, but don't bet the election on CRT.
The No. 1 issue driving voters next year should be paying Red China back.
Democrats sold their souls to the CCP. Only Republicans have the integrity to take on Red China. Let us see if they are up to the task.
