Highlights of the News

Hello friends wordentertainmen, on this occasion the admin wants to share an article entitled Highlights of the News, we have made good, quality and useful articles for you to read and take information in. hopefully the post content is about Highlights of the News, which we write you can understand. Alright, happy reading.

LeBron James refuses to shake hands after his team was eliminated in the first playoff rounds.

Every Cleveland Cavaliers fan is happy. Every conservative is happy. I'm both.

ITEM 1: Just the News reported, "At least 10 state governments across the U.S. are using federal money intended to aid needy families, to aid alternatives-to-abortion programs instead, according to a news report.

"The states are: Indiana, Louisiana, Michigan, Missouri, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania and Texas.

"Each one is taking money from the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families fund, or welfare, and giving the money to state-run programs that are intended to discourage people from getting abortions.

"The alternative-to-abortion clinics are intended to help offer financial assistance and offer tests to single women who find themselves dealing with unwanted and unexpected pregnancies."

Good.

West Virginia should join those 10 states on the Honor Roll of Life.

ITEM 2: LifeZette reported, "A report by Axios on Thursday said President Joe Biden now opposes creating a Jan. 6 presidential commission to investigate the Capitol riot on that day.

"According to Axios, White House officials say Biden plans to continue urging that Congress to set up its own committee.

"But those same officials indicate that the president  will not appoint his own presidential committee to investigate the Jan. 6 Capitol riot in which Trump supporters entered the Capitol building as lawmakers voted to certify the election for Biden."

That's awkward.

After months of shrill cries and rending of clothes to investigate this over-hyped event, Chairman Biden says no.

He is to the right of Liz Cheney.

ITEM 3: Today's Dumbest Lie comes from Paul Krugman who wrote, "I’ve been struck by reporting from Britain, which has been even more successful than the United States in achieving widespread vaccination (thank you, National Health Service)."

The USA's vaccination rate, 41.6%.

UK's 40.2%.

Thank you, President Trump.

ITEM 4: The runner-up lie comes from Chairman Biden, who said of 5.8% unemployment, "This is historic progress,  progress that’s pulling our economy out of the worst crisis it’s been in in 100 years."

1. The Great Depression was worse (although the post-World War I depression Warren Harding solved with tax cuts a century ago was pretty bad).

2. President Trump knocked unemployment down from 14.7% to 6.3% in 9 months. Chairman Biden took it to 5.8% in 4 months.

ITEM 5: Summit News reported, "Senator Rand Paul, who has constantly challenged the contradictory and unscientific statements of Dr Fauci, as well as pointing out Fauci’s involvement in funding gain of function research with coronaviruses at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, appeared vindicated in an interview Thursday following disturbing revelations from released emails, which Paul urged should be the final nail in Fauci’s coffin.

"Speaking to Laura Ingraham, Paul asserted that 'The emails paint a disturbing picture, a disturbing picture of Dr. Fauci, from the very beginning, worrying that he had been funding gain-of-function research. He knows it to this day, but hasn’t admitted it.'

"The Senator also urged that Fauci’s involvement has not been adequately investigated because in the eyes of Democrats 'he could do no wrong'."

Tony Fauci's incompetence or treason (or both) are enough justification for the next Republican president to summarily fire all political appointees on Day One.

ITEM 6: Just the News reported, "California residents of all ages and incomes are leaving for more tax friendly climates, and they’re taking billions of dollars in annual income with them.

"The Internal Revenue Service recently released its latest taxpayer migration figures from tax years 2018 and 2019. They reflect migratory taxpayers who had filed in a different state or county between 2017 and 2018, of which 8 million did in that timespan.

"California, the nation’s most-populous state, lost more tax filers and dependents on net than any other state.

"Minus incoming filers, California shed a net 165,355 tax filers and dependents between the two tax years, representing a loss of $8.8 billion in net adjusted gross income.

"Texas was the primary destination for California ex-pats, with 72,306 total exemptions leaving to go there. Neighboring Arizona saw 53,476 total filing exemptions come from California. The two states saw a gross income boost of $3.4 billion and $2.2 billion, respectively."

People vote with their feet.

West Virginia is shrinking in population, too.

But that is mainly because we are dying. Our major destination is Heaven, not Texas.

ITEM 7Politico reported, "Bargain hunters pounce as Trump condo prices hit decade lows."

Virtue signalers are taking a bath.

The story said, "Lou Sollecito, a car dealer, recently bought a two-bedroom unit with views of the Empire State Building."

How much did he pay?

The story said, "The purchase price was $3 million, nearly a million less than the seller paid in 2008."

Of course, the pandemic wiped out demand (and hence, knocked down prices) for downtown luxury condos across the board. But the story was written to justify the headline, as is often the case now in journalism.

ITEM 8: Just the News reported, "A sheriff in Virginia's Smyth County has became the third in the state in roughly the past year to switch his party affiliation to Republican, citing anti-police rhetoric used by Democrats.

"Chip Shuler was elected as county sheriff as a Democrat in 2015 and reelected in 2019. But last week Shuler announced he'd became a Republican, citing 'the relentless attack on law enforcement by Democrats,' according to WJHL-TV."

It is called sanity.

Welcome aboard.

ITEM 9: Hamas-Shielding AP propagandized, "Crowds vandalized buildings and stole from businesses in Minneapolis’ Uptown neighborhood after law enforcement officers on a U.S. Marshals Service task force fatally shot a man they were trying to arrest for illegally possessing a gun, authorities said Friday.

"Authorities did not immediately release the name of the man killed in the shooting Thursday afternoon, but a woman who was in a longtime relationship with him identified him as Winston Boogie Smith Jr., a 32-year-old father of three.

"The woman, Shelly Hopkins, said Smith, who was black, had been harassed by police since he was in high school. She feared he had been killed when she heard about the shooting, then saw his vehicle on the news. While she was at the scene she got a call from the medical examiner’s office confirming his death."

It was a mostly peaceful looting.

ITEM 10: AP omitted some information about the man it said "had been harassed by police since he was in high school."

CBS reported, "According to information WCCO has gathered, Smith was convicted of aggravated robbery in 2017, received a stayed prison sentence and was put on probation. Smith also had a felony conviction out of Ramsey County for firearm possession in which he failed to appear for sentencing on May 19. As a result this warrant for his arrest was issued."

Police harassment did not make him a criminal. Committing aggravated robbery did.

ITEM 11: AP reported, "A U.S. judge has rejected the Biden administration's attempt to delay a lawsuit from several states and environmentalists who are seeking to end lease sales for coal mining on federal lands.

"The coal leasing program was temporarily shut down under President Barack Obama because of concerns about climate change, and then revived by the Trump administration. There have been few sales in the years since because the use of coal has plummeted as utilities turn to [other] fuels.

"Environmentalists want to shut down the program permanently and have been frustrated by the Biden administration's attempts to delay a legal challenge pending before U.S. District Brian Morris in Montana."

Obama judge.

Naturally.

ITEM 12: Yahoo reported, "North Carolina county bans Coca-Cola machines after company criticizes Georgia voting law."

The machines are in county buildings.

Coke needs to lay off the caffeine and get some rest. It is way too woke.

ITEM 13: Jonathan Turley reported, "The San Francisco police posted a videotape of a man lighting the hair of a woman on fire on a bus. They were seeking the help of witnesses but bizarrely blurred out the face of the suspect. When confronted on the curious effort, the police insisted that it was just trying to get people to recognize the victim. Huh?

"The young man is shown in the videotape casually moving over to sit behind the woman and then puts a lighter to the back of her head. She was helped by other passengers as the suspect and two friends ran off of the bus. She obviously could have been severely burned or even killed in such an attack if the fire spread."

You cannot even tell the race of the assailant.

Which was the whole point.

ITEM 14: The New York Post reported, "Coronavirus lockdowns had no direct connection to falling infection rates in Germany — as transmission was already declining before the restrictions were imposed, new research found.

"The research, conducted by statisticians at Ludwig Maximilians Munich University, found that the country’s R rate — or the number of people an infected person passes the virus onto — had already dipped below 1 prior to the national lockdown being imposed last November, according to the Telegraph. The rate was also decreasing in December and April when the lockdown was tightened, the research found."

Told you so, but it is a year and $10 trillion too late to do any good.

ITEM 15: The Daily Mail reported, "A New York-based psychiatrist who was invited by Yale University to give a talk titled Psychopathic Problem of the White Mind told the audience that she had fantasized about 'unloading a revolver into the head of any white person' who got in her way.

"Dr. Aruna Khilanani, who runs her own practice in Manhattan, delivered the talk virtually to medical students and faculty back in April after being invited by Yale School of Medicine's Child Study Center."

This kook's degrees include: Bachelor of Arts In English, University of Michigan; Master of Arts in Humanities, University of Chicago; and Doctor of Medicine, University of Illinois at Chicago.

She lists herself as a "Forensic Psychiatrist and Psychoanalyst with expertise in violence and racism."

We need to fight anti-white racism.

Fast.

ITEM 16: Meghan McCain on April 14, 2020, "The press cannot talk to Dr. Fauci like he’s Sean Spicer. He seems to be the only person holding this country together and giving people on both sides good faith on what’s happening going forward."

That was when it was Fauci vs. President Trump.

Her tune has changed.

Meghan McCain on Friday, "I don’t think people that are uncomfortable with celebrity or don’t want to be a celebrity, pose on the cover of InStyle Magazine in fashion spreads and on the cover of People Magazine. I’m sorry but part of the criticism going forward is he just wanted to be a scientist, he clearly wanted to be a Kardashian as well."

She is her father's daughter.

ITEM 17The New York Post reported, "A former Minnesota professor who raised money in the name of a man shot by a police officer in 2016 donated less than half of the funds intended to feed hungry kids, authorities said.

"Pamela Fergus, a former professor at Metropolitan State University, did not properly spend $120,000 of the $200,000 she raised in Philando Castile’s name to pay off student lunch debts for Saint Paul Public Schools students, Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison said Thursday."

Now you know why black lives matter to so many white liberals.

ITEM 18: The Daily Mail reported, "Moving truck is seen at Hunter Biden's $5.4 million rental home in Venice Beach as he appears to have moved out of the waterfront property in an area that's been overrun by the homeless."

Vagrants have taken over and the coke-and-strippers presidential progeny is leaving.

I'd say that's an upgrade for the neighborhood.

ITEM 19: Bloomberg reported, "Alaska Airlines’s flight attendant uniform policy discriminates against nonbinary workers by forcing them to 'conform to rigid gender stereotypes,' the ACLU alleged in a Friday letter demanding that the airline alter its dress code.

"The American Civil Liberties Union wrote the letter on behalf of Seattle-based flight attendant Justin Wetherell, whose gender identity is nonbinary, or not strictly male or female, and whose gender expression is fluid and can change over time."

The time has come to stop this nonsense.

Declare LGBTQ the religion it is and cleanse the government of this foolishness.

ITEM 20: Reuters reported, "Nigeria said on Friday it had indefinitely suspended Twitter’s activities, two days after the social media giant removed a post from President Muhammadu Buhari that threatened to punish regional secessionists."

We should have done this earlier this year.

ITEM 21CNS News reported, "Since its founding in 2012 by actors Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher, the online anti-sex trafficking organization 'Thorn: Digital Defender of Children' has identified 17,092 child sex-trafficking victims. Commenting on Thorn’s ability to identify potential victims online, Kutcher told Congress, 'This tool is effective, efficient, it’s nimble, it’s better, it’s smarter.'"

God bless them both.

FINALLY, The Blaze reported, "Disgraced Democrat Katie Hill said that the Republican Party needs to be completely destroyed in an interview with Andrew Gillum, who agreed vehemently with her diagnosis."

She resigned in disgrace from Congress over her throuple scandal, while he did so many drugs at a wedding reception that he woke up in a motel room with a male hooker.

They are the moral center of their party.
