Highlights of the News

Hello friends wordentertainmen, on this occasion the admin wants to share an article entitled Highlights of the News, we have made good, quality and useful articles for you to read and take information in. hopefully the post content is about Highlights of the News, which we write you can understand. Alright, happy reading.

ITEM 1: Fast Company reported, "Surprise! Highly vaccinated areas have fewer COVID infections."

It is almost as if vaccinations prevent people from getting covid.

And yet they still mandate masks in many jurisdictions, which are run by superstitious governors.

ITEM 2: Politico reported, "Boris Johnson announced a four-week delay to the end of lockdown in England as the Delta variant of coronavirus continues to spread rapidly through parts of the country."

Twatwaffle or cockwobble?

You make the call.

ITEM 3: Kyle Becker reported, "The State of Arizona’s Attorney General Mark Brnovich has issued a blistering response to Biden’s Attorney General Merrick Garland regarding not-so-subtle threats the Department of Justice has made over the state’s election audit of Maricopa County."

If Biden won fair and square, he should welcome an audit.

ITEM 4: The New York Times alleged, "The Vatican has warned conservative American bishops to hit the brakes on their push to deny communion to politicians supportive of abortion rights — including President Biden, a faithful churchgoer and the first Roman Catholic to occupy the Oval Office in 60 years.

"But despite the remarkably public stop sign from Rome, the American bishops are pressing ahead anyway and are expected to force a vote on the communion issue at a remote meeting that starts on Wednesday."

If it is in the NYT it could be true.

But this reminds me that when I was a kid, the question "Is the pope Polish?" meant no.

Then came Pope John Paul II.

The question "Is the pope Catholic?" meant yes.

Then came Pope Francis.

But then again, this is NYT reporting. Who knows if it is true?

ITEM 5: The Daily Mail reported, "Benjamin Netanyahu blasted US President Joe Biden in a 'scorched earth' speech on his last day in office before officially handing over power on Monday, warning Iran will be 'celebrating' his defeat because Israel will be 'weak'.

"In a scathing speech that was meant to last 15 minutes but ran for more than half an hour, Netanyahu said the Islamic Republic would celebrate his loss because 'they understand that starting today there will be a weak and unstable government that will align with the dictates of the international community.'"

For 73 years, America and Israel have been allies and friends.

Biden changed that by backing Hamas.

ITEM 6: NBC reported, "Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene and Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar will be the target of dueling resolutions expected to be filed this week admonishing them for remarks that critics said were anti-Semitic or inappropriate.

"Rep. Brad Schneider, D-Ill., is expected to unveil a resolution Wednesday that would censure Greene, of Georgia, for remarks last month comparing House mask rules to the Holocaust.

"Her remarks were roundly criticized by fellow Republicans. Greene has already been stripped of her two committee assignments after her social media posts came to light that showed her spreading dangerous and racist conspiracy theories."

Look for Congress to censure Greene for protesting against draconian covid rules while giving Omar a pass on siding with Hamas.

Greene apologized for making light of the Holocaust.

When will Trump's enemies apologize for making light of Hitler?

ITEM 7: Hamas-Shielding AP reported, "The Justice Department’s top national security official is resigning from his position after revelations that the department under President Donald Trump secretly seized records from Democrats and members of the media.

"John Demers, a Trump appointee, will leave by the end of next week, a Justice Department official told The Associated Press on Monday. Demers, who was sworn in a few weeks after the subpoena for the Democrats’ records, is one of the few Trump appointees who has remained in the Biden administration. He had planned for weeks to leave the department by the end of June, a second person familiar with the matter said."

This is a non-story.

He did not initiate the subpoenas that the press objects to, and he planned on leaving anyway. Looks like Josef Biden wants to portray this leak investigation on President Trump. I really doubt The Donald had anything to do with this because the FBI hated him.

ITEM 8: Making news today is BuzzFeed, the super-journalist web site that helped CNN promote the Fake News that Vlad Putin colluded with President Donald John Trump to steal the 2016 election.

First Company reported, "BuzzFeed will pay creators of viral content up to $10,000 per post."

Modern journalism is all about clicks. The Establishment Press has become a bunch of lefty bloggers mimicking the Daily Kos.

They all want a Pulitzer, named for the 19th century New York Journal publisher Joe Pulitzer. He sent an illustrator to Cuba in 1897 to cover a revolution that wasn't. The fellow got bored. Pulitzer, wired, "Please remain. You furnish the pictures and I’ll furnish the war."

In the 20th century, journalism climbed out of that gutter. In the 21st century, it has gone back.

ITEM 9: PJ Media reported, "The Babylon Bee Scores a Major Victory Over The New York Times."

NYT labeled The Bee, a satirical site, as a right-wing misinformation site. The Bee sought and received a correction. After hiring a lawyer, The Bee got one.

The irony is that NYT is a left-wing misinformation site. Pulitzers rain on the NYT because the Pulitzer Prize committee loves lies.

ITEM 10: Enough lies. How about some good news?

Medical Xpress reported, "Scientists at UC Santa Barbara, University of Southern California (USC), and the biotechnology company Regenerative Patch Technologies LLC (RPT) have reported new methodology for preservation of RPT's stem cell-based therapy for age-related macular degeneration (AMD).

"The new research, recently published in Scientific Reports, optimizes the conditions to cryopreserve, or freeze, an implant consisting of a single layer of ocular cells generated from human embryonic stem cells supported by a flexible scaffold about 3x6 mm in size. This implant is currently in clinical trial for the treatment of AMD, the leading cause of blindness in aging populations. The results demonstrate that the implant can be frozen, stored for long periods and distributed in frozen form to clinical sites where it is designed to be thawed and immediately implanted into the eyes of patients with macular degeneration. The capacity to cryopreserve this and other cell-based therapeutics will extend shelf life and enable on-demand distribution to distant clinical sites, increasing the number of patients able to benefit from such treatments"

Eyesight is a terrible thing to lose -- especially when you are in your 90s, as many sufferers of macular degeneration are.

ITEM 11: The New York Post reported, "‘Even North Korea is not this nuts’: Defector slams ‘woke’ US schools."

The story said, "Yeonmi Park attended Columbia University and was immediately struck by what she viewed anti-Western sentiment in the classroom and a focus on political correctness that had her thinking 'even North Korea isn’t this nuts.'"

The defector said, "I expected that I was paying this fortune, all this time and energy, to learn how to think. But they are forcing you to think the way they want you to think. I realized, wow, this is insane. I thought America was different but I saw so many similarities to what I saw in North Korea that I started worrying."

She also said, "I literally crossed the Gobi Desert to be free and I realized I’m not free, America’s not free."

MAGA.

Rid America of its Woke oppressors.

ITEM 12: OANN reported, "Republicans are knocking Joe Biden for failing to defend U.S. national interests at the G7 summit. It began with former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo who said in an interview Sunday, Biden’s claims that America is back is bringing back the Obama days when America was weak. He then criticized Biden for shutting down the Keystone XL Pipeline while allowing Russia to finish construction of Nord Stream 2. Pompeo stressed. Biden must focus on what matters most to America not other countries."

It no longer is Democrats vs. Republicans.

It now is Washington vs. America.

ITEM 13: The Washington Examiner reported, "John F. Kerry, the special presidential envoy for climate, said only months ago that those losing fossil fuel jobs in coal and hydraulic fracturing will find they have a better choice of jobs in either the solar industry or as wind turbine technicians.

"That was then. Now, a wind blade manufacturing plant located in Aberdeen, South Dakota, has announced it is shutting its doors permanently in less than two months.

"The disappearance of Molded Fiber Glass will displace over 300 workers and their families. It marks another major loss of energy jobs in the state following President Joe Biden's halting of the Keystone pipeline on the first day of his administration.

"MFG said in a news release that the closure will happen because of changing market conditions, foreign competition, and proposed revisions to tax policies affecting the wind energy industry in the United States.

"Since 2007, the Aberdeen plant has been producing wind turbine blades. The plant will remain in operation for the next two months until it has fulfilled existing orders."

Red China bought off our politicians.

Do you see Red China using any windmills? It keeps building coal-powered power plants.

To run the windmill factories, whose products Red China exports.

ITEM 14: Breitbart reported, "Kelly Tshibaka, the conservative Republican Senate candidate challenging establishment incumbent Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) in Alaska, released her first television ad of the 2022 election on Monday, over a year ahead of the primary matchup.

"The ad features the conservative candidate detailing her own Alaska story, highlighting her conservative values and her roots as her parents rose from homelessness to the middle class after moving to the Last Frontier State in the 1970s."

Murkowski got her Senate seat the old fashioned way: her daddy was a former senator (and governor).

ITEM 15: The Federalist reported, "The first speaker former actress Eva Longoria introduced at the Democratic National Convention in August 2020 was Muriel Bowser, the Democrat mayor of Washington, D.C. Longoria referenced the clearing of a street in front of the White House earlier that summer, an operation the media had repeatedly falsely characterized as the violent removal of peaceful protesters with tear gas for the sole purpose of a photo opportunity for President Donald Trump."

Spoiler alert: The smeller is the feller.

The story said, "Amazingly, new reports confirm it was Bowser — not Trump — who teargassed the protesters a few blocks away from the White House on the evening in question, that the protests had repeatedly devolved into violence and arson, and that the clearing was done for major security concerns and not a photo opportunity. For more than a year, Bowser allowed Trump to take the blame for what her police forces had done."

Democrats and the media lie, and there are never any repercussions.

ITEM 16: The Cleveland Plain Dealer reported, "Four decades after serving as the youngest mayor in Cleveland’s history, Dennis Kucinich announced Monday he again wants to lead the city.

"Flanked by his wife and supporters, with the city skyline behind him, Kucinich, 74, said he is focused on the needs of the community."

No.

Just no.

I may have to move back to Cleveland just to vote against him. Again.

ITEM 17: Tablet reported, "Hamas Killed 160 Palestinian Children to Build Tunnels. Militant group used child labor to construct underground network in Gaza."

Their rockets also killed 66 Gaza children in recent attempts to bomb Israel.

Hamas cares about Palestinians as much as Red China cares about Uyghurs. That both groups are Muslim is duly noted.

ITEM 18: Voice of America reported, "U.S. Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell said on Monday that President Joe Biden would not get a Supreme Court nominee confirmed in 2024 if Republicans regain control of the chamber and a vacancy arises during that presidential election year.

The story also said, "McConnell could return as majority leader if Republicans regain control of the Senate in the 2022 midterm elections. While serving as majority leader, McConnell blocked Democratic former President Barack Obama from filling a vacancy left by the death of conservative Justice Antonin Scalia in February 2016, saying it would be improper to confirm a Supreme Court nominee during a presidential election year."

Basically, McConnell is telling Justice Stephen Breyer to retire next year.

ITEM 19: The richest nation on Earth gives 80 vials of vaccine to a nation of 1.4 million people.

If T&T leaders are prudent, that should be enough to vaccinate 0.015% of the population.

No need to thank us.

ITEM 20: And the U.S. Embassy POS lives up to its name.

(POS stands for Port of Spain, in this case.)

ITEM 21: CNBC reported, "Jamie Dimon believes cash is king – at least for the time being.

"JPMorgan Chase has been “effectively stockpiling” cash rather than using it to buy Treasuries or other investments because of the possibility higher inflation will force the Federal Reserve to boost interest rates, Dimon said Monday during a conference. The biggest U.S. bank by assets has positioned itself to benefit from rising interest rates, which will let it buy higher-yielding assets, he said."

Inflation is part of the Democrats' diabolical plan.

ITEM 22: NBC reported, "Challenging Texas’ pro-Trump attorney general."

Who is this challenger? Beto O'Rourke? Wendy Davis, the abortion Barbie? Some other young Democrats?

Nope.

It is George P. Bush.

ITEM 23The New York Post reported, "Reality Winner, a US Air Force veteran jailed for leaking classified documents, has been released from federal prison, her lawyer said Monday."

The story also said, "Winner, 29, a former National Security Agency contractor, was sentenced to more than five years in prison in 2018 for leaking a top-secret report on alleged Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election to the media."

The headline called her a whistleblower.

That is like saying abortion is health care.

ITEM 24Kyle Becker reported, "The Democrat Party, having apparently solved all of America’s problems, are going back to the well at least one more time: It is announcing yet another partisan Trump witch hunt.

"On Monday, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) announced that the House Democrats are going to open a formal investigation into the Department of Justice’s surveillance of Congress, journalists, and others."

They want to impeach him again.

Obama spied on Trump.

ITEM 25: Never bring a Biden to any fight.

FINALLY, my post on Saturday, "Cis Rights. We, Too, Are Born This Way," drew a lot of praise and reader enthusiasm. But some objected to Cis Rights because that is ceding the language to the Marxists.

Fine.

But I could not think of an alternative. Straight rights did not quite fit as the main problem is having to accept men in drag as women. I am open to suggestions.
