*Rurikoji-temple*
My husband needed to visit a musical instrument store  for fixing his saxophone. The store is located in our capital city. He kindly took a detour. Let me post about this temple again. Unfortunately, bit early for the season of autumnal leaves.

Rurikoji (瑠璃光寺, Rurikōji) is a Buddhist temple in Yamaguchi City, best known for its five-storied pagoda that is a national treasure, Built in 1442.

the pagoda is justifiably ranked among Japan's three greatest, alongside those of Horyuji Temple near Nara and Daigoji Temple in Kyoto.

As it is the capital city, we often visit there, not like this time mainly for  official procedure.

The believer throws a ladle full of water over the statue and watches it drip down,
hoping his wish will be fulfilled and his soul purified by this ritual.

*Cluster Amaryllis and Autumn darter (Dragonfly)*

The cluster-amaryllis is planted well to prevent rats and moles to the bank and ridge between rice fields. Because the flower has poison and the water leaks from the hole of rats and moles.

This Dragonfly(Autumn darter) was caught by my husband's friend.
