When Red China first spread covid 19 to the USA, a sizeable portion of the American public correctly deduced that it came from a lab in Wuhan. For the past year-and-a-half, the media has denied this and labeled as racist any and all talk Chinese Covid.
Despite the propaganda campaign, most Americans believe covid spread from the Wuhan lab that makes corona viruses.
Politico reported, "Most Americans now believe that the coronavirus leaked from a laboratory in China, according to a new Politico-Harvard poll that found a dramatic shift in public perception of Covid-19’s origins over the last year."
Belief nearly doubled despite the best efforts of pro-Red China social media and Corporate Media to suppress talk of the Wuhan Flu coming from that lab in Wuhan.
The story said, "In March 2020, a Pew Research Center poll found 29 percent of Americans believed the virus was made in a Chinese lab and released either accidentally or intentionally. The new survey shows 52% believe the virus came out of a lab, including 59% of Republicans and 52% of Democrats, while 28 percent said it was from an infected animal.
"The absence of a large partisan gap on the issue is particularly striking, said Bob Blendon, a professor of health policy and political analysis at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health who designed the poll."
(The school is named for a Chinese millionaire whose sons paid $350 million for naming rights in 2014.)
The lack of a partisan split in beliefs scares Democrats because they cannot blame President Donald John Trump for this.
Blendon, the Professor Whoopee who designed the poll, said, "Usually, our polls find a big split between Republicans and Democrats, so this is unique.
"More conservative media have been carrying the ‘lab leak’ issue, and it’s been a Trump talking point from the beginning, so we expected people who lean Democratic would say either ‘It’s not true’ or ‘I don’t know.’ But the belief is bipartisan."
The public has figured out that Red China concocted and disseminated the virus.
Reaction by Democrats and RINOs, the health bureaucracy, and the media indicates they may full well have been in on the deal from the get-go. Certainly the outcome of the end of the Trump presidency was one that they all desired.
But absent direct evidence, that is just a theory at this point.
A year ago, the Wuhan connect was a theory. Now there is evidence. A defector spilled the details on the leak to the Defense Intelligence Agency. This forced Josef Biden to create some sort of panel to examine the origin. But we know its origin. This is damage control. Democrats want to suppress the information.
Indeed, Politico never mentioned the spy.
But this poll shows the truth is getting through the propaganda machine.
Media hysteria about covid 19 -- including flat-out lies about HCQ -- has further eroded American trust in the media, which diminishes it as a tool for propaganda. The poll is a good sign of this awakening to the reality that we are being had.
