The Daily Mail reported, "A high-ranking Chinese spy chief is rumored to have defected to the United States and given Washington evidence on the Wuhan lab which prompted Joe Biden's about-face on the coronavirus leak theory."

The story said, "Dong Jingwei is believed to have fled to the US with his daughter Dong Yang on February 10, according to Spy Talk. 

"He made a name in China's secret service, known as Guoanbu, and was head of counter-intelligence, or spy-catching, after being promoted to the post of vice minister in April 2018.

"If the reports are true, Dong is the highest-level defector in the history of the People’s Republic of China."

My take?

If the reports are true, Dong is an idiot because he picked the wrong president to defect to. Josef Biden will sell him out so quick his head will spin.

The media is ignoring the story as it awaits instruction from the Democrat Party (also known as CCP Junior).

Instead, the New York Times offered readers, "Why Do People Want Jeff Bezos to Buy and Eat the Mona Lisa?"

It said, "An online petition that started as a joke has gone viral, becoming a kind of digital performance art piece all of its own."

NYT is a joke.

The news media has openly ignored the story for weeks.

Ace reported, "Red State reported on this rumored defector two weeks ago." 

Dong is said to be spilling the beans on Red China's biological warfare operation in Wuhan.

Ace opted, "Meanwhile, China is flexing its military muscle, buzzing Taiwan with the biggest and most threatening air incursion in history. Almost as if they're saying: Do not press us on the Bat Virus we infected the world with."

Then Ace mocked Biden and the G7 for their official reaction, "We reiterate our strong opposition to any unilateral actions that could escalate tensions and undermine regional stability and the international rules-based order and express serious concerns about reports of militarization, coercion, and intimidation in the region."

Maybe they can talk Twitter into banning Chairman Xi and his henchmen.

But I understand. How can you go to war with the country that supplies all your war materiel?

The Daily Mail story noted, "Dong's defection, if it happened, may never be confirmed.

"But it does come as the Biden administration, following scientific consensus, makes a notable shift in its thinking about the 'lab leak' theory.

"Last year scientists were downplaying the theory, insisting that it was far more likely that the COVID-19 virus passed from animals to humans.

"Now scientists believe that it may indeed be true."

I believe Democrats knew what happened all along. Certainly Red China tipped off the NBA, which shut down nearly immediately.

Maybe Dong is a plant. Maybe not. At any rate, his timing is off. Way off. He trusted Democrats.

That is a big mistake.
