Highlights of the News

Hello friends wordentertainmen, on this occasion the admin wants to share an article entitled Highlights of the News, we have made good, quality and useful articles for you to read and take information in. hopefully the post content is about Highlights of the News, which we write you can understand. Alright, happy reading.

ITEM 1: The Associated Press was in full Newspeak mode this weekend with a headline, "Manchin say he'll vote against 'partisan' Dem elections bill."

How dare he suggest that a Democrat bill is partisan!

And of course every media outlet ran the same headline over the story because the media is run by idiots. Media companies hire idiots because they work cheap.

Chris "Cuomo" Wallace had Manchin on his show and whined about not ending the filibuster. Wallace supported the filibuster when Donald Trump was president. And you wonder why I stopped watching Fox.

I will have thoughts on Joe's decision at 11.

ITEM 2: The Epoch Times reported, "Republican Flips Mayor’s Seat in Texas Border City, Unofficial Election Results Show."

The town is McAllen, which is a border hotspot. The new mayor-elect is Javier Villalobos.

Once again, Hispanic voters prove that standing for a strong border actually attracts their votes.

ITEM 3: Bloomberg reported, "A blaze broke out at a steel factory in Iran’s southern Kerman province Sunday morning, the semi-official Tasnim news agency said, the country’s fifth reported infrastructure fire in little more than two weeks.

"A video of the fire, published by Tasnim, showed sparks and flames erupting into an explosion at the plant, owned by the Zarand Iranian Steel Co. The blast was a result of an overflow of molten iron causing a reaction as it hit a cooling pond, Tasnim cited the company’s public affairs office as saying. Nobody was hurt, and firefighters managed to contain the blaze by the afternoon, a provincial official said, according to Tasnim.

"Iran has suffered a flurry of incidents in recent days. An oil pipeline caught fire in the southwest of the country on Thursday, a day after a blaze engulfed a refinery in southern Tehran. A week earlier, a worker was killed when an oxygen pipeline exploded at a petrochemical plant in Assalouyeh, and on May 22, three people were injured in a fire at a unit of the Abadan refinery in southwest Iran.

"Earlier this week, an Iranian warship -- one of the biggest vessels in the country’s navy -- sank after catching fire while it was anchored off the coast of the Sea of Oman."

Iran gave Hamas 4,000 rockets, which Hamas fired at Israel.

Now Iran pays for those rockets.

ITEM 4: Mark Tapscott reported, "You may have heard Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) bewailing her grandmother’s squalid living conditions in Puerto Rico. Conservative journalist Matt Walsh did and he organized a fund-raising appeal that generated $100,000 to help AOC’s granny. Can you guess why she rejected it?

"Nothing is more important than the narrative. Nothing. Nothing at all."

Socialists would rather force you to support them than accept your donations.

By the way, taxpayers gave Puerto Rico plenty of money to save its citizens 4 years ago. Government failed. Democrats want to reward this failure with statehood.

ITEM 5: Todd Starnes reported, "A 21-year-old Amazon driver reportedly berated an elderly woman about white privilege before savagely beating the 67-year-old in Castro Valley, California.

"The driver, Itzel Ramirez, engaged in a heated verbal exchange with the unnamed victim before unleashing a horrific onslaught of sucker punches to the back of the head and the face of the much older woman."

There is no white privilege, only non-white privilege. It goes black > Hispanic > Native American > Eskimo > Asian > Australian Aboriginal.

ITEM 6: Kane at Citizen Free Press reported, "Huge applause when Trump says ‘China must pay the world reparations.’"

President Trump is absolutely correct. Republicans need to rally Americans behind punishing and isolating Red China.

There are many ways to collect that reparation, including the cancellation of our IOUs to Red China.

ITEM 7: PJ Media reported, "The family of Ashli Babbitt is suing Washington, D.C.’s Metropolitan Police Department to learn the identity of the officer who fatally shot Babbitt in the Capitol on January 6.

"Court documents show that the plaintiff, Aaron Babbitt, filed the lawsuit on April 21, 2021. Under Washington code, the MPD was supposed to produce the requested information or prove that the department is legally exempt from doing so within 15 days. As of June 4, the department has yet to do either.

"Aaron Bobbitt’s attorney, Terrell Roberts, stated the problem with the lawsuit is that Capitol Police are not subject to the law regarding the Freedom of Information Act."

Republicans should name the officer.

What gives him more rights that Derek Chauvin?

ITEM 8: 11 Alive reported, "The judge called it an unthinkable crime, and said it was incomprehensible that a child would be so unfeeling, before sentencing the older of two teen girls involved in the carjacking murder of grandfather and Pakistani immigrant Mohammed Anwar. The judge gave the 15-year-old the maximum sentence -- six years of youth detention."

DOJ should file hate crimes charges -- or is the Biden administration Islamophobic?

ITEM 9: Reuters reported, "Jon Rahm was forced to withdraw from the Memorial Tournament in Ohio that he was leading by six strokes on Saturday after the Spaniard tested positive for COVID-19, the PGA Tour said.

"The 26-year-old's most recent test, conducted after Friday's rain-shortened second round, came back positive on Saturday and it was confirmed again while he was on the course.

"PGA Tour officials informed Rahm of the test result as he left the course and the stunned former world number one put his hand over his face and bent over in agony and disbelief after getting the news."

He should lawyer up, and if it is a false positive, he should sue the PGA.

ITEM 10: Protesters jeered medical bureaucrat Tony Fauci as he traveled on Sunday to Abyssinian Baptist Church in Harlem to promote vaccinations.

It was quite a different story last June.

At that time, the Indian Express reported, "The most senior infectious disease expert in the US government, Dr Anthony Fauci, was invited to throw the first pitch of the 2020 Major League Baseball season. The doctor, who has been the most vocal about the handling of the pandemic by the US, only managed a horribly wide throw that sparked plenty of reactions on social media."

He's a better pitcher than he is a medical expert, as we discovered 600,000 deaths too late.

ITEM 11: How about a little Trumpenfreude to start the week?

Decider reported, "Just weeks prior to Netflix‘s Never Have I Ever second season premiere, an already-taped Chrissy Teigen guest appearance on the show has been canned. While her surprise role was never announced, Netflix had already taped Teigen’s part (which was narrator for one episode), which is a callback to the first season twist when Andy Samberg subbed in for tennis icon John McEnroe in an episode.

"According to Vulture, however, Teigen has 'decided to step away from the guest role,' adding that her part 'is expected to be recast.'

"While the spokesperson for the show provided minimal details, the last-minute change comes weeks after Teigen made a public apology to Courtney Stodden for unearthed cyberbullying in the form of a series of harassing tweets from over 10 years ago. In one of the posts Teigen told Stodden, who was a teenager at the time, to 'take a dirt nap.'"

Be better.

ITEM 12: The Washington Examiner reported, "On Monday, national media reported an explosive story in Colorado. A prominent Black Lives Matter activist, socialist, and Denver Public Schools board member, Tay Anderson, stepped back 'from everyday board functions' while an independent investigation looks into startling allegations that he sexually abused 62 current and former students.

"The alleged assaults range from unwanted touching to violent rape of students as young as 14 years old. 61 of these students are purportedly illegal immigrants or recipients of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program. The new allegations come two months after the group BLM5280, and past associates of Anderson’s at the (now-defunct) youth-led gun-control group Never Again Colorado accused him of past sexual assault and harassment.

"Media reports about the accusations against Anderson, 22, have barely scratched the surface. Moreover, this saga reveals a broader story.

"In June 2020, a DPS student approached BLM activist and protest mom Mary-Katherine Brooks Fleming at an event. Brooks Fleming is a mother of three DPS students and has helped finance BLM and other sympathetic causes. She was the adult this high school student trusted."

This goes well beyond criminal activity by BLM.

I have said illegal aliens are the worse parents because they send thousands of unaccompanied children north, where they are prey to pedophiles along the way -- and once they cross the border, they face predators like Tay Anderson.

Democrats, RINOs, the Chamber of Commerce, and other perverts encourage this. As a nation we should rise and demand the wall go up for the sake of the children who are raped and groomed for some sick, sick people.

ITEM 13: CNN reported, "Police have been ordered into the streets of the Brazilian city of Manaus, amid a wave of attacks on buses, cars and banks that began on Saturday night and forced the city to halt public transportation and left some residents afraid to leave home.

"State officials said criminal gangs in Manaus organized the arson attacks from prison, in retribution for the reported death of one of their leaders during a police raid on Saturday. Images of the weekend’s damage show burned-out buses and bank offices filled with rubble."

Sounds like a George Floydian mostly peaceful protest.

ITEM 14: The AP reported, "Lindsay Myeni and her South African husband moved to Hawaii, where she grew up, believing it would be safer to raise their two Black children here than in another U.S. state.

"Three months after they arrived, Honolulu police shot and killed her husband, 29-year-old Lindani Myeni, who was black."

AP was angry because there were no riots to cover. It headlined its story, "No mass protests after Honolulu police shoot, kill black man."

Buried in Paragraphs 12 and 13 were, "According to police's account of the fatal shooting, Myeni entered a home that wasn't his, sat down and took off his shoes, prompting a frightened occupant to call 911. Outside the house, he ignored commands to get on the ground and physically attacked officers, leaving one with a concussion, police said.

"Police released two brief clips from body camera footage, but it's difficult to make out what is happening in the dark. Three shots ring out and then an officer exclaims, 'Police.'"

AP is garbage.

ITEM 15: Fox reported, "The head of an American Legion post in Ohio stepped down Friday amid criticism following the decision of Memorial Day ceremony organizers to turn off a retired U.S. Army officer’s microphone while he was speaking about how freed black slaves honored fallen soldiers just after the Civil War.

"American Legion leaders in Ohio also suspended the post’s charter and are taking steps to close it.

"The moves come in the wake of intense backlash to the decision to censor retired Army Lt. Col. Barnard Kemter, who said he included the story in his speech because he wanted to share the history of how Memorial Day originated."

A year ago, Time published a nice report on that 1865 event, which birthed Memorial Day.

I am glad the censors got the boot.

ITEM 16: Reuters reported, "A U.S. federal judge overturned California's 32-year-old ban on assault weapons on Friday, describing it as a failed experiment, which prompted scathing criticism from the state's governor and attorney general."

Judge Roger Benitez, a Bush 43 appointee, wrote, "Government is not free to impose its own new policy choices on American citizens where constitutional rights are concerned. It is declared that these statutes unconstitutionally infringe the Second Amendment rights of California citizens."

But he stayed the order for 30 days to give the 9th Circuit Court time to reverse him.

ITEM 17: Reuters also reported, "The U.S. Justice Department under presidents Donald Trump and Joe Biden waged 'a secret legal battle to obtain the email logs of four New York Times reporters,' including a gag order on executives, the newspaper reported on Friday.

"The legal battle to gain access to the email logs of four of the journalists started in the last weeks of Trump’s presidency and sought to reveal reporters’ sources, the Times said."

The government should not spy on journalists.

But the Times isn't a news organization. It lied about Russian Collusion, the Ukrainian phone call, and the 1619 Project. Spy away!

ITEM 18The Sun reported, "Millions of Americans have received their third stimulus checks, but some fourth relief payments have been sent out by mistake. The IRS mistakenly sent out some additional $1,400 payments."

Of course it did.

This is our federal government, which is run by a bunch of incompetent and conniving Peter Strzoks. No one will be punished, so expect more of this.

ITEM 19: The Daily Wire reported, "Baby Name ‘Karen’ Plunges In 2020, Hits Lowest Ranking Since 1927."

Really?

I want to speak to the manager about this.

ITEM 20: Axios reported, "Scoop: Bush family nonprofit's $5 million deal with China influence group."

But George P. Bush is different and we should trust him, right?

Meanwhile, Texas, how about cutting to the chase by renaming the George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston the Chairman Xi Globalist Airport?

ITEM 21: BrownsWire reported, "Football fans will have another option aside from the NFL next year. The USFL is coming back in 2022 after a hiatus of over 35 years."

Fox gave the league a TV deal.

Maybe the New Jersey Generals can move to Florida and become the Palm Beach Presidents.

ITEM 22: The AP reported, "The Supreme Court is being asked to decide whether it is sex discrimination for the government to require only men to register for the draft when they turn 18.

"The question of whether it is unconstitutional to require men but not women to register could be viewed as one with little practical impact. The last time there was a draft was during the Vietnam War, and the military has been all-volunteer since. But the registration requirement is one of the few remaining places where federal law treats men and women differently, and women’s groups are among those arguing that allowing it to stand is harmful."

The draft is unconstitutional except in time of war.

We ended it 48 years ago.

Registration is unnecessary, unconstitutional, and evil.

In other words, bet on these bozos on the court to uphold it.

FINALLY,

I got vaccinated to protect me, not you. Whether you get vaccinated or not has zero bearing on my life.
