Highlights of the News

Hello friends wordentertainmen, on this occasion the admin wants to share an article entitled Highlights of the News, we have made good, quality and useful articles for you to read and take information in. hopefully the post content is about Highlights of the News, which we write you can understand. Alright, happy reading.

ITEM 1: Republican Secretary of State believes there may have been something afoul in last November's election.

But in January, when President Donald Trump tried to get this Ratberg to investigate, he tried to get Trump indicted by making the private phone call public.

Remember?

NBC reported in January, "Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger said Monday that he has never thought it was appropriate to speak to President Donald Trump about the 2020 election results and that the conversations Trump has had with him and other elections officials could pose a conflict of interest that warrants investigating.

"When asked by NBC News about the phone call he and the president had on Saturday, Raffensperger said he was concerned about talking directly with the president because of a lawsuit Trump is pursuing against the governor and secretary of state."

Primary Raffensperger because he screwed every single Trump voter in America by not doing his job following a tainted election.

ITEM 2: I saw this tweet and thought she must be nearing 40.

I checked it out. She's 36. She made her pile (net worth north of $150 million), and now she virtue signals.

Her cry of sexual exploitation is laughable. She played a cartoon figure with a good figure. It ain't Shakespeare, toots.

ITEM 3: Politico reported, "Senate Republicans spent months praising Joe Manchin for his insistence on cross-party compromise. Next week they will almost surely end his hopes for a bipartisan deal on elections.

"Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell said he believed all 50 Republicans would oppose Sen. Manchin’s (D-W.Va.) slimmed-down elections compromise, which focuses on expanding early voting and ending partisan gerrymandering in federal elections. And it’s not clear there’s a single Republican vote to even begin debate on the matter, potentially dooming Manchin's proposals before they can even make it into the bill.

"Both Sens. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) and Mitt Romney (R-Utah) said they would likely oppose a procedural vote next week that would bring Democrats’ massive elections reform bill to the Senate floor. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said that the Senate could amend the bill to adopt Manchin’s changes. But Romney said supporting that strategy 'doesn’t make a lot of sense to me' and Murkowski said, 'Joe hasn’t briefed me on any of this.'"

With great fanfare, Manchin promised publicly to protect the filibuster.

Privately, he said he was willing to negotiate.

Republicans apparently no longer trust him. Makes compromise difficult.

ITEM 4: Breitbart reported, "On Wednesday, U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland vacated two Trump era asylum decisions which restricted the consideration of gang and domestic violence as acceptable arguments for entry.

"Under current immigration law, migrants who face persecution because of race, religion, nationality, membership in a particular social group, or political opinion are eligible for asylum. The issues addressed by Garland involve how broadly the definition of 'social group' is applied.

"Garland’s actions will immediately allow immigration judges to interpret the definition of “membership in a particular social group” to include victims of domestic and gang violence, which can also apply to members of the potential asylee’s family.

"The orders signed Wednesday may also impact cases previously denied under the Trump administration. This could have an impact on the current backlog of 1.3 million cases in immigration courts."

The backlog helps the Open Borders crowd cram more illegal aliens into the nation by allowing them to stay here while their case is adjudicated.

ITEM 5: Fox reported, "The Supreme Court sided unanimously with a Catholic foster agency in a dispute against the city of Philadelphia over whether it should be banned from participating in the city's foster program because it excludes same-sex couples.

"The group, Catholic Social Services, claimed that 'Philadelphia’s attempts to exclude the Catholic Church from foster care' violated the First Amendment.

"Lawyers for the city, meanwhile, said that CSS 'lacks a constitutional right to demand that DHS offer it a contract that omits the same nondiscrimination requirement every other FFCA must follow when performing services for the City.'

"In a 9-0 ruling, the justices sided with Catholic Social Services."

Correction, Fox. Justices sided with no one. Justices merely upheld the First Amendment protection of freedom of religion.

As Chief Justice John Roberts noted in his majority opinion, Catholics have been taking care of orphans in Philadelphia since the yellow fever epidemic of 1798.

Roberts knows something about foster care and adoption, as he and his wife adopted their two children.

ITEM 6: Hamas-Shielding AP said, "Prosecutors urged a judge Wednesday to impose a very substantial prison sentence on Michael Avenatti for trying to extort millions of dollars from Nike.

"Prosecutors noted in a Manhattan federal court submission that Probation Office officials recommend an eight-year prison term for the California attorney who gained fame three years ago through his representation of porn star Stormy Daniels against then-President Donald Trump."

Not mentioned in the 16-paragraph story was Avenatti's allegations against President Trump were so bizarre that a judge order him and his client to pay Trump's lawyers.

Such is what passes for journalism these days.

ITEM 7: Speaking of Avenatti, one of his cheerleaders on cable TV fell into ratings purgatory.

The Washington Free Beacon reported, "Few cable hosts have suffered more from President Donald Trump leaving office than MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace.

"According to analytics provided by Nielsen Media Research, Wallace’s 4 p.m. show Deadline: White House has seen a nearly 80% drop in viewership since January 2021 in the critical 25-54 demographic. At the end of May, just 147,000 non-geriatrics above the age of 25 tuned into her two-hour MSNBC program per day.

"Although Wallace has worked hard to channel her previous experience as a White House press secretary into her role as an unofficial spokesperson for the Democratic Party, the results have been abysmal with a Democrat in the White House. Her total viewership in the month of May is less than half of her total viewership in January.

"During the Trump years, Wallace’s bizarre conduct—she once compared the firing of U.S. intelligence officials to the Holocaust and confused the sound of a soda can opening on air with gun shots—paid off handsomely. Although her explicit endorsements of candidates, such as Massachusetts senator Elizabeth Warren (D.), who she called a 'really, really, really good candidate,' or Michael Avenatti, who she said the press should not underestimate as a presidential contender, were almost certainly net negatives, Wallace managed to capture MSNBC’s audience."

Avenatti. Nicole Wallace. It's a double-shot of Trumpenfreude this morning,

ITEM 8: The Hill reported, "Some 200-plus MSNBC workers are forming a union, but the network, known for its progressive politics, said it won’t recognize the effort until a majority of workers vote in a secret ballot election.

"The MSNBC Union made the announcement Thursday that it was organizing to become a local chapter of the Writers Guild of America, East."

Hahaha.

Liberals: do as we say, not as we do.

ITEM 9: Fox reported, "A community in Atlanta has decided to separate from the city and create its own police force. Bill White, the Buckhead City Committee CEO, said the decision comes as crime in Atlanta has skyrocketed and police are not being properly funded.

"White told Bill Hemmer on America's Newsroom that he estimates nearly 80% of his community will vote in favor of the separation.

Trusting a Georgian election is like handing Ferris Bueller the keys to your 1961 Ferrari 250 GT California Spyder.

But desperate measures are called for because Mayor Keisha lance Bottoms has embraced the Black Crime Doesn't Matter movement. Poll watchers are a must, as are court orders protecting the ballots.

ITEM 10: Just the News reported, "House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said on Thursday that Republicans in Congress want people 'in cars, on the road, using gas,' while the Democrats want more mass transit, high-speed rail and electrification."

The House Republican ads write themselves.

ITEM 11: German news agency DPA reported, "Organized crime in South Africa has a new field of business: Avocados, a trade so lucrative due to the fruit's boom in popularity that they are now known as green gold.

"For Zander Ernst, the biggest fear is that the situation will escalate and people will die in the bitter struggle for the fruit.

"Sleeves rolled up, the South African farmer trudges through seemingly endless rows of trees heavy with lush, ripe avocados. In Tzaneen's hilly landscape, business is blooming, ready for export to Europe.

"Allesbeste, the name of Ernst's family business, is one of the largest avocado farms in South Africa. It looks idyllic - if you ignore the metre-high electric fences and barbed wire surrounding the plantation. At night, the area is patrolled by private security services to prevent criminal gangs from stealing the precious fruit.

"Cartel-like structures are already forming, says Ernst."

Why can't these criminals stick to tradition and push drugs, prostitutes, and gambling?

ITEM 12Fox reported, "All 50 of Portland police’s highly trained rapid response unit voted unanimously to resign on Wednesday during a union meeting in response to the recent indictment of Officer Corey Budworth for allegedly assaulting a photographer with his baton during as an overnight riot broke out last August. "

If police want change, they must have the mayor's security detail resign en masse.

ITEM 13: The New York Times whined, "A New York Times journalist was denied entry into Nicaragua on Thursday amid a nationwide crackdown against the media and civil society in the Central American nation."

Boo, hoo, hoo.

NYT backed President Daniel Ortega, a Cuban-trained guerilla fighter, when President Reagan opposed the communist leader. NYT reaps what it helped sow.

ITEM 14The Blaze reported, "A group of 34 women brought a civil lawsuit against MindGeek, the parent company of Pornhub, as well as dozens of the world's most popular pornography websites. The lawsuit alleges that MindGeek is running a criminal enterprise, which knowingly profited from non-consensual videos. The suit claims that the porn site hosted videos involving sex trafficking, rape, and even child porn."

The story also said, "Pornhub purged the site of more than 10 million videos of the site's 13.5 million total videos in December 2020 in reaction to allegations the website was hosting child sexual exploitation, non-consensual violence, rape, and other unlawful material, according to The Verge."

10 million of its 13.5 million videos were unlawful material?

If three-quarters of your content is illegal, you should shut down and start all over again.

ITEM 15: The New York Post reported, "Spence School sorry for video a mom said ‘tarred and feathered’ white women."

Systemic racism is real.

And it is anti-white.

ITEM 16: Becker News reported, "CNN Heralds Biden Foreign Trip Victory to Americans, But CNN’s European Readers See: ‘Putin Got Exactly What He Wanted.’"

CNN exports the truth, banishing it to Europe.

How cruel.

ITEM 17The Western Journal reported, "President Joe Biden’s mental capacities have been the subject of many questions over the past couple of years. Throughout Biden’s 2020 presidential campaign and his first five months as president, his gaffes have been frequent and very visible.

"It has now reached the point that a former White House physician is publicly signaling his concern about Biden’s mental health. Republican Rep. Ronny Jackson of Texas, who served as White House physician for former Presidents Barack Obama and Donald Trump, sent Biden a letter on Thursday calling on him to take a cognitive test."

Apple, table, penny.

ITEM 18: The Drive reported, "A report has emerged that major Russian naval maneuvers were underway in the Pacific when U.S. Air Force F-22A Raptor stealth fighters were scrambled from their base in Hawaii over the weekend, an incident you can read more about in The War Zone’s initial reporting. The Raptors were supposedly launched to investigate unspecified Russian long-range aircraft, part of a group of naval vessels and aircraft that were participating in a large-scale exercise around 300 to 500 miles west of the Hawaiian islands. The incident came immediately ahead of today’s summit meeting between U.S. President Joe Biden and Russian President Vladimir Putin in Geneva.

"The pair of F-22s was launched this past Sunday on an alert scramble out of Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam at around 4:00 PM local time. They were joined by a third Raptor soon after and also had refueling support from a KC-135 tanker during their mission. The reported Russian aircraft that prompted all of this did not enter the Hawaiian Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ) at any point and were not intercepted, according to CBS News, which reported this additional information."

Yea, President Mushbrain really nailed that summit.

ITEM 19: The Palmeiri Report reported, "Twitter stock tumbled 25% amid their spat with the Indian government.

"On February 26th the stock price was $80.75.

"On June 16th Twitter stock closed at $59.93.

"This represents a $13.87 billion dollar loss in market cap for Twitter."

Another dollop of Trumpenfreude. It's GOOD to be the conservative.

FINALLY, when are we going to call black racism out?

This is domestic terrorism repeated over and over again in cities.
