＊Visiting Hagi-City with my friend＊

At old Castle town called "Hagi-City" in my Prefecture, we can still enjoy architecture with old style wall with white lime plaster. This entrance of the (used to be) toll way has the tiled roof which is very rare. 
           The sign says "Welcome to Hagi".

*Kikuya Residence 菊屋家住宅 *    

 Kikuya Residence was built in the first decade of the 17th century and belonged to the wealthy merchant Kikuya who provided services to the Hagi Clan.　The main house, the principal warehouse, the treasury, the rice warehouse and the kitchen house have been listed on the National Register of Important Cultural Properties.
