To celebrate 100th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relationships between Japan and Finland, "Ceramic Board Painting Exhibition" is now being held at Yamaguchi Prefectural Art Museum, Urakami Memorial Hall. It was my first experience to see art from Finland ♫ We can enjoy innovative art which Finish artists depicted Japan with the Finish atmosphere as well as their original works.
I feel happy and honored to have a chance seeing this exhibition in this celebrative year, as I have a good blog friend in Finland.

I found two pages about this room. How wonderful to see Finish style room;
picture page and concept page about marimekko tea ceremony.
The little arrow shows the "crawl-through doorway or crawl-in entrance to the tea room ", "nijiriguchi. にじり口" in Japanese. The purpose of separating the spiritual space of the tearoom from the outside world.

This dragonfly is called "Pseudothemis zonata". In Japanese "コシアキトンボ". Literally translated "waist opening dragonfly" p;-)
