In the middle of last month, Lady Keyboard player (who also teaches drum) of the band my husband involves held a recital for her students. She was checking or adjusting the drums for the students. It sure must have been a great time with rewarding feeling for her and all the participants♪
And I was happy to see the Kites on the wall of the stage. They are the ones I enjoyed and posted in this page. The man who made the kites was there and also enjoyed the performance as well.

In Japan, we have "Gengo", name of the Reign of the Emperor. The new era will begin on 1 May, a day after the emperor, Akihito – whose era is known as Heisei (achieving peace) – makes way for his eldest son, Crown Prince Naruhito. So we have two ways to define Year, "Christian Era (A.D.) and Gengo". We use both of them for different purposes in accordance to the use.
These two Chinese characters, taken from the eighth-century work Man’yoshu, the oldest existing anthology of Japanese poetry, can be read as “fortunate” or “auspicious”, and “peace” or “harmony.”
